Back in the GROOVE.... ART and ME.

I know you are probably wondering if I would ever be back to post anything new... well, the answer is YES! I am back. This summer has been quite a roller coaster ride & here I am finally trying to get back into the groove of things. Although I have not stopped creating over the summer months, I have been extremely busy with life's hills and valleys. The good news is, God has continued to carry me forward and given me the wonderful support from special family members who believe in me... and others who have helped motivate me in what I enjoy doing so much. A Wonderful Thanks to u all!

There are some new pictures I would like to share with my supporters. Also, I am excited to announce a new shop that has opened recently: Simply Spaces, in Madison, MS. This shop is located in the historical district of Madison and has a wonderful variety of unique collections from home decor to clothing, accessories, art and more. ***there are some people who have not received special orders from me yet and I would like to let you know that I have been working on them and hope to get with you soon on your art if you are still interested in seeing it. Also, there are some special requests that I rec'd at the Spring Canton Flea Market and would like you to email me your contact information if you are still interested. I do not know where it has been placed and have had a difficult time finding you.
The only big show I plan on doing in the fall is Canton Flea Market in Canton, MS in October. Other than that, I will be glad to let you see anything I may have if you are interested. I will continue to post things through out the Fall season.

I know there are some who have already requested things for special dates in the Fall and that is a great thing to do. It does take time to get these pieces together... U can't rush ART !

It is only thru Christ Jesus who gives me the vision and ability to make it all happen. : )

Recent Crosses & Plak(s)...Great thoughtful gifts!

Here are some recent crosses I did for gifts...Mother's Day, Teacher gifts, and just simple 'Thank Yous'. These crosses range in price from lower $20's to mid $30's depending on detail and size.

The crosses you see are smaller, but I do larger ones.

The 'medium' size crosses range from $40-60 & the 'larger' ones range from $65 and up.
Usually, there are carved words on the front of the cross and the verse painted on the back.

You may request a specific verse at any time or any colors you may like to see together, but because I work with mainly 'oops' & 'reject' paint... it may be difficult to be exact with your color. This makes my art more 'eco friendly' ...for those of you 'going GREEN.'

This 'Love is patient' plak was a very popular item! It has the whole verse on it. Although wasn't totally identical, I was able to put it together in a smaller version a second time. Each were given as a gift. Because there are still requests for Plaks with this Love verse, I will continue to work on more.

A Few Good Things...

Here are some of my latest pieces, some I took with me to the Arts Alive crafts fair this past Friday, March 27th. It was a pretty good turn out considering the rainy weather we had the night before. The small cross with pink was a big hit! Many of the viewers were looking for Easter and Mother's Day gifts, both which are just around the corner... If you are interested in something special for one of these special occassions and would like to request a bible verse for a 'cross' or 'plak' let me know. Thru Christ All Things Are Possible...

...because many of you know, I have been trying to put this blog together for a while. I have to say, I am excited to finally be making my first post! Here are some of the creations I have been able to put together recently. If you see anything you may be interested in, let me know. All the pieces are different in one way or another. I must say, I do best when I can create a piece of art from what I am feeling, reading, or experiencing at the time, but will always try to customize, such as verses, etc. Please let me know if you have any questions, feedback, or ideas.
